I do things a bit differently. So while most people may start this section telling you about their most impressive projects to date, I’m going to tell you about how I started out.
From my early days selling scarves at Liberty London, I quickly discovered that what I loved most wasn't the selling itself (although I do have some fun stories about that) — it was the people. Those real, unhurried conversations with customers lit something up in me that I've never stopped chasing.
That spark led me into marketing, and eventually into digital strategy, where I spent a decade as a social media consultant working with brands I genuinely believed in. But over time, I noticed something. The most valuable thing I brought to my clients wasn't the campaigns or the content calendars — it was the bigger questions. The ones that made them stop, think, and reconnect with why they started in the first place.
That realisation changed everything. I retrained as a coach, completed my Level 7 qualification in senior and executive coaching, and found a way to bring together everything I'd learned — the strategic, the creative, and the deeply human — into something that actually felt like me.
Another key point is that I became a mother while I was a consultant. That's shaped this more than anything else. I know firsthand how easy it is to pour everything into everyone around you and quietly lose sight of what lights you up. Becoming a parent has a way of reshuffling your whole identity — and while that's often beautiful, it can also leave you wondering where you went. I wanted to create something that gives women proper permission to focus on themselves, to connect with others who get it, and to remember what brings them joy. Because here's what I know to be true: the best ideas, the clearest thinking, and the most meaningful progress rarely happen when we're heads-down and burning out. They happen when we give ourselves permission to stop, breathe, and look up for a moment.
And that's how A Creative Pause was born.
A Creative Pause is a space for women navigating the beautiful, messy, complicated intersection of business and motherhood. Through 1:1 coaching, half-day workshops, and creative intensives, I create space for you to reconnect with your creativity, your values, and your own quiet wisdom — without the pressure to be productive or perfect.
Working with me looks different depending on what you need.
My 1:1 coaching offers private, unhurried space that's entirely yours. We work together to untangle what's holding you back, get clear on your direction, and build the confidence to move forward — at a pace that works for your life. Whether you're navigating a transition, rethinking your business, or simply feeling like you've lost your thread, this is where the real work happens.
My half-day workshops and creative intensives are designed to give you a genuine shift in perspective in a shorter timeframe — combining creative exercises, coaching tools, and honest conversation so you leave with real clarity, not just a to-do list. This isn't about doing more. It's about doing what matters, in a way that actually fits your life.
If you're feeling disconnected from your original vision, stretched too thin, or just quietly wondering is this still what I want? — you're in the right place. No jargon, no one-size-fits-all answers. Just honest, warm, practical support from someone who's been in the thick of it too.
